which shares a vision with Hutto Independent School District of
enabling education excellence. This can be accomplished through

is to provide educational support to enable education excellence. The
Foundation develops and allocates resources to the Hutto Independent
School District and various student organizations to enrich, enhance,
and maximize the quality of education available to our students.

Founders Drive Kick-off Event - October 12, 2008
A Kick-off Founders drive was held at the home and beautiful garden
of Mike and Donna Fowler. The event was a delightful success.
Three Dudes Winery from San Marcos donated wine for tasting and
Party Perfect catered the event. Thank you very much to all the
community leaders who participated. We have raised $14000 to date
for the founders drive. Thank you very much to our founders! Not
included in this, event,
A special thank you to K.A.Hickman Architects & Interior Designers
and John Stern for making it possible to finally be 501.c.3 certified.
Also, I would like to thank the Hutto Rotary for their contribution in
2006 that made it possible for HEF to make their first contribution to
H.I.S.D for calculators.

In an effort to determine 2008-9 H.I.S.D. Needs we are in currently
conducting a Needs Survey.
2008-2009 H.I.S.D. Needs Survey
We will be implementing our Partners in Education programs,
however, in order to determine the best programs and fundraising
events to implement, we are also conducting a Potential Partner
Survey. Results will be posted at our next board meeting.
